The 44th ISTS Symposium will be held at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa, an amazing 4-star venue perched atop the cliffs of Keauhou Bay on Hawaiʻi Island. The resort is just south of the town of in Kailua-Kona, approximately 20 kilometers from the Kona International Airport (KOA), and features the Kaleiopapa Convention Center, a 10,000-square-foot facility where all the primary symposium activities will take place.
There are onsite restaurant, cafe, and bar options offering local and international cuisine, as well as an oceanfront swimming pool (and water slide!), and various cultural and diversion opportunities.
The symposium’s discounted room block is now full. Attendees who wish to stay at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa can still reserve rooms directly through the resort’s website at prevailing rates.
The following are included if you reserve as a symposium participant: Enhanced Wi-Fi, parking (typically $25++/day), and Resort Fees (typically $35++/day). Cultural activities including Hula lessons and Lei Making, Guided Cultural and Historical Tours of Keauhou Bay, Daily access to Outdoor Games (Tennis, Basketball, Bocce Ball-complimentary equipment). Daily Yoga or Fitness Class, Daily Paddleboard Rental (includes 1 board for 2-hour use).
